Astronomy Buffs:  Blue Moon on New Year’s Eve!

There will be a “Blue Moon” on New Year’s Eve!  (technically that means the second full moon of a month, the other was on Dec. 2nd)...and a full moon won’t be repeated on a New Year’s Eve again for another 19 years… how cool is that??

Did anyone get pics of the beautiful moon last night?  It was really gorgeous coming up over the city.  I miss the beautiful photos of the moon that were posted in the old photo galleries.  I know we have some good moon photographers in Hartsville.  It would be great if some of the photos could be reposted.
