I hope you decided to go smoke free. From a previous thread it could be a good decision. Good luck. I’ll stop in the next time I’m in town.

What about progess energy employees?

Progress Energy also gets the discount. The restaurant has been smoke free since September of 2009. Lee’s is still open now. there will be NO days that we will be closed down for the transition to “Big Mike’s Diner”. Come by and see us.

On the “smoke free” issue, We made that change in September of 2009 because a huge number of people stated they would support us if we made that change. Once we made the change maybe 3 or 4 people started to come in on a regular basis because of the change to non smoking. In return we lost about 50 percent of the daily business. We are running full schedule until the grand opening next week. So come check us out. A lot of the menu items are already availabe.
