Changing Passwords, User Names, Screen Names, etc.
Expression Engine has some different restrictions on user names and passwords:
—Once you have registered a user name, you cannot change it.
—You can go into your account profile and change your screen name. You will have to remember, however, to use the old user name to log on.
—You can reset your password, but Doug cannot.
—If you want to make any of those changes, you can do so in “Your Account” settings, but you will need your current password.
If you lose your password, there is a password recovery link that will send a message to the e-mail you enter.
If you have lost your user name and password, you will need to e-mail Doug, who will then have to forward it on to Media General to be reset.
Doug also no longer has an administrative log where he can look at activity on the system and tell when someone is having problems, so it has to be up to you to let him know.
