I was reading an article about the Redskins (Indians, Braves, etc.) Alot of people think those names are offensive and are trying to do something about that.  A couple days later I heard a story on the radio that some businesses will not have meetings in SC because the Confederate Flag.  I didn’t know the Confederate Flag belonged to South Carolina but that is what they said on the radio.  It seems people should have more to worry about.

This has been going on since the administration of Governor Beasley. His position on the issue is considered to be a major reason he lost his bid for re-election. Were you asleep while the NAACP had marches on MLK Day at the state capital and had their boycotts for outside organizations to meet in S.C.? Honey, wake up! You need to subscribe to a newspaper or pay more attention to the news.
We are living in a political correctness era. At least, Florida State reached an agreement with some Indian tribes which allowed them to keep the name ‘Seminoles’ for their teams. I don’t see the Braves changing their name anytime soon.
