Congrats to Ruth’s Drive-In

Congratulation to Angela on getting a honorable mention in Southern Living Magazine. The food there is the best. Its been like that since I was in high school and has not changed. I make it a point to go by there and eat every time I’m back in Hartsville. The story about the recipe is in “A bonus section for our South Carolina readers” which apparently went out mostly to subscribers. I bought the December issue of “Southern Living” at Ray’s newsstand after seeing it in Ruth’s Drive In. I could not find the article. Ray’s refunded my money. I went to Piggly Wiggly and found the issue I wanted. On that rack, I got the next to last copy available. Steve at Ray’s said he would call the distributor to see if he can get the S.C. edition as he had other people looking for it.
It’s a great honor for Ruth’s Drive In. I stopped by tonight and ate a pimento cheeseburger. It was very good.
