The #1 Rule on the Byerly Park signs is: “Due to security purposes personal coolers are not allowed inside the ticketed areas.”
Raise your hand if you think personal coolers are banned inside the concession area due to “security purposes.”

Good point. I don’t buy it either.
We should have just said that we don’t allow food from the outside—because the proceeds from the concession stand help pay for the part-time labor and the referees. I think people would be okay with that? After all, you can’t take a cooler into a Carolina football game.
