Council to receive search committee report at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday

Hartsville City Council will meet a half hour earlier than originally announced at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to receive a report from the City Manager Search Committee on candidates for the position.
City officials announced the change from the usual meeting time of 6 p.m. in the meeting’s agenda issued today.
Council will receive the committee’s report in a closed executive session. Council’s regular monthly work session will follow.
The search committee will recommend four candidates for council’s consideration.
The committee interviewed five candidates for the position on Aug. 31 in Columbia and settled on four to submit to council for consideration.
