Desperately need “new comments” alert on the main page!

Unless I’m missing something you have to click on every post to see if any new comments have been entered.

As for seeing new posts, I have found it to be quicker to use the drop down box under Articles. If you tap on each category, it gives a list of each post with time created and the number of comments.
I use that feature to see if I want to open a post I have already read. It works okay if you can remember how many comments were there the last time you looked.
