HARTSVILLE - A logjam for first place in the Dixie Youth National Minor and Major Leagues has happened as the second half of the season has come to an end.
In the minor league, Foxes Corner will play Sonoco at 5:30 p.m. Thursday with the winner playing the Masons at 5:30 p.m. Friday. If the Masons win on Friday, they are the champions of the Minor League since they won the first half of the season.
A loss by the Masons will result in a best two out of three championship series having to be played, with the games scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, if necessary. Those games will be played at 6 p.m.
In the major league, Civitans will play Kiwanis at 7:30 p.m. Thursday with the winner of that game playing Rotary at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Civitans are the champions of the first half, but if they lose either game a best two out of three championship series will be played. The games are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, if necessary, with the start time being at 6 p.m.
All games will be played at Byerly Park on the new pod fields five and six.

Thats nice work coming fresh from Coastal Carolina. I can thorougly understand what is happening and when it is happening. Where were you at when the ponytails were playing softball? We sure could have used some good detailed coverage to explain what was going on.
