GSSM Robotics Team Snags State Title

Before dawn on a chilly Saturday morning last week, GSSM’s robotics teams took a van load of robots, tools, spare parts, computers, and determination to Columbia to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge Regional Competition.
The GSSM Awesome Possums, took the state trophy while the GSSM North Central Positronics snagged a top-10 finish. The Awesome Possums will represent South Carolina at the World Championships to be held at the Georgia Dome in April.
Congratulations to both teams and to robotics coach Mrs. Elizabeth Bunn!

So good to hear this! Maybe they will display the creations for us to look at? I would love to see them, even inanimate, at the black creek arts council perhaps?
What is a powerless robot but an incredibly complex sculpture?
At least it shows more brains than a bunch of guys running around fighting over a ball, and trying to throw it in a hoop or kick it through posts.
