The first annual “Polar Bear Plunge” is definately a family event (with the four F’s)...fun, food, family and freezing water! A great way to bring in the New Year!
This is NOT just for friends taking the plunge…but those who just want to watch the insanity too.
Note: Must be 18 or older to take the plunge.
$2.00 for Hartsville or Darlington YMCA members. $5.00 for Non-Members. Fee includes t-shirt and hot breakfast! Register at the Hartsville or Darlington YMCA ASAP. Walk-in’s will be welcome, but may not get a t-shirt.
Hot showers, steam room, and/or sauna will be waiting!
We would like to get sponsers for each participant. All proceeds will go to a 9 year old young lady by the name of Lauren Dickens. She is the daughter of a Darlington Highway Patrolman who has been diagnosed with Luekemia.
