HHS needs funds for FCA football camp

Posted by LisaRock on 07/16 at 10:09 AM

HHS has 28 football players attending the FCA Football Passing League camp next week.  The cost is $130 per player.  With all of the budget cuts, the school is having a difficult time coming up with the money for some of the players.

FCA has given us $1,300 in scholarship money to help cover the cost.  However, that is not enough.

HHS needs 15 sponsors at $130 to help with the cost of this camp.  If you or your church is interested, please contact Phyllis Griggs, athletics director for Hartsville High School, at 843-857-3804 if you can help. She will come pick up the check.

The boys will be leaving Monday morning, and time is running out.

I’m not trying to start a civil war at HHS but ask a band parent about funding problems.
