HVTD Features Update
If you have noticed, Matt has been able to create a “most viewed” and “most commented” area.
Some of you have asked for a “most recent,” but that is already there, at least for stories, on the home page. We don’t have a most recent comments list, but I think what Matt has done on the most viewed and most commented is a good replacement.
Matt says he is now tackling the various aspects of the photos and linking them to stories.
After that, I suspect he’ll get into the calendar.
Again, please be patient. I want your feedback, but remember, Matt put this site together in about two weeks without the normal site planning, wire framing, etc. It was a decision made so that you would still have a place to connect and share information, with the idea that we would keep working on improvements. Matt has done that - and I can tell you that keeping his word on that is more than I’ve gotten from some others at other organizations on similar projects.
Some things will never be quite the same as the old site, and I know it is tough to switch from a comfortable “old friend.” Other things will be better.
We now have 100+ re-registered. Thanks for your support and commitment.
