Flametamer12: I have sent your question to John Andrews at the Hartsville Genealogical Society and Doris Gandy at the Darlington Co. Historical Commission. You might also stop by the Hartsville Museum to see if they might know the answer. Are you saying there was more than one Antioch School?

Doris Gandy of the Darlington Co. Historical Commission had this to say:

” I searched in our files on Antioch School. We have several year books, they are called “The Torch”. I do not know if they had a mascot like “Red Fox”, “Tigers,” or something like that. It does not show up in any of their books.”

Thanks for the help. Did not think of the Historicial Commission. I was sure they had an elementry school as it still stands. I have a drawing of the old school hanging in the Byrdtown Fire Station. Did not know if it was an elementry school or High School. Again thanks for your help.
