Media, universities team up for gubernatorial debates
News13, the Morning News and scnow.com are partnering with both Coastal Carolina and Francis Marion universities to host the gubernatorial debates next month.
Francis Marion will play host to the Republican candidates on June 1st at Chapman Auditorium. The Democratic candidates will debate at Coastal Carolina’s Wheelwright Auditorium on June 3.
The debates will air live beginning at 7 p.m. on WBTW News13 and http://www.scnow.com.
Bob Juback will moderate both debates, which will feature a media panel.
The focus of the debates will be the creation of jobs and developing long-term economic growth in South Carolina.
