New Rock Radio Station - 97.1 Frank FM

New Pee Dee Area Rock Station 97.1 Frank AM. They advertise their playlist as “everything from the 60s,70s and 80s”. And after hearing Hendrix’s All Along The Watchtower and Madonna’s Like A Virgin back to back, I tend to agree with them!
Good to hear it! We need more local rock stations. I’m so sick of having to hear whiny almost-country and thug-in-the-club music I could puke. In fact, I rarely listen to FM at ALL. I just load up my ipod and play it in the car. I can’t remember the last time I listened to FM. I have XM at home, but my spouse prefers top 40 in the car, so when I’m with her its t-pain and young skeezy or that ilk.
Im still hoping one of the GSSM kids will build a pirate radio station, but I won’t hold my breath. If they can build a robot, how hard is a radio transmitter?
