Pearl Fryar to appear on Martha Stewart Show May 12

Pearl Fryar’s topiary garden in Bishopville is scheduled to be featured on the Martha Stewart Show on today. It was announced by the The Garden Conservancy that on May 12, the show will run footage from the Pearl Fryar Topiary Garden in Bishopville.
The Martha Stewart Show filmed the May 12 segment during two days in mid-April days among the towering and creative topiaries at the Pearl Fryar Topiary Garden. During the taping, Fryar took visitors on a tour of the garden while he was interviewed about the history and creation of the garden. Friends and visitors talked passionately about the importance of the topiary garden to Bishopville and why it should be preserved.
