Russian Ensemble to perform at St. Bartholomew’s

The Russian singing ensemble Lyra from St. Petersburg will perform on Tuesday, May 11, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Church in Hartsville. The group of five singers will perform a concert including sacred music of the Russian Orthodox Church by composers such as Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff. In the second half of the program, they will perform Russian folk songs.
This performance is jointly sponsored by St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal, Wesley United Methodist and West Hartsville Baptist Churches. The concert is free of charge, but donations will be accepted.
