Saturday’s Hartsville Idol rained out
Sixteen Hartsville Idol hopefuls will have to wait until July 10 to discover their fate. Saturday’s competition was rain-cancelled. Just about time for the pre-show to begin, a blowing rain soaked the contestants, the stage, the seats and the ground causing Hartsville Idol organizers to postpone the competition.
The rained out contestants will compete on July 10, and the quarter-finals and semi-finals will be pushed back a Saturday to July 17, 24 and 31. The finale will remain Aug. 7.
The pre-show begins at 6:30; contestants take the stage at 7 p.m. All contestants need to sign in at 5:30 p.m.
Competing this Saturday in Burry Park will be Joe Coker, Bryant Blackmon, Olivia Charnes, Tori Eddy, Ashlyn Bazen, Eris Goodson, Rachel Morris, Amy Ponds, Hali Larkins, Gina Turbeville, Hunter Wint, Drake Johnson, Shawn Walters, Shelby Wayne, Josh Railey and Taylor Nealey.
