Third Saturday Farmers Market at Gardeners in Hartsville
Third Saturday Hartsville Market will be held November 21
The market will be hosted by Gardner’s Fertilizer & Farm Supplies, 317 Railroad Ave., Hartsville. The idea was to provide more convenient access to the Ovis Hill Farm network of South Carolina farms every two weeks for more regular grocery shopping. Although business has been light for several of the “third Saturday” markets, they are continuing through the end of the year to see if you want them to continue.
This is a group of local farmers with lots of tasty, organic and sustainable products. The dollars spent with them stay in our community and are recycled here.
Please consider stopping by the market this Saturday to check it out. You can also purchase items from the this group at the Good Living Marketplace on the first Saturday on Cargill Way.
Some of the items they feature: vegetables, grass-fed beef, lamb, chicken, eggs, milk, cheeses, herbs, honey, goat’s milk, soaps and more.
I haven’t tasted everything, but what I have was very good.
