HHS has 28 football players attending the FCA Football Passing League camp next week. The cost is $130 per player. With all of the budget cuts, the school is having a difficult time coming up with the money for some of the players.

CONWAY – Hartsville Legion Post 53 upset Conway Legion Post 111 with a 3-1 victory in game five of the best-of-five series on Friday in Conway to continue to the second round of playoffs against Sumter on Monday.

The Hartsville Legion Post 53 baseball game against Camden scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tonight (Friday) has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Kelleytown Stadium.

HARTSVILLE - Sumter Legion Post 15 defeated Hartsville Legion Post 53 at Jimmy White Park 6-2 in Senior American Legion baseball on Thursday night as Jordan Montgomery of Sumter pitched nearly flawless baseball. He went six innings allowing only two runs and five hits while striking out 10 and walking none.

The Hartsville High School Cheer Squads will provide table service 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Bizzell’s Food & Spirits Sunday. This will be the LAST Sunday Buffet at Bizzell’s until the weather cools off enough to resume this most well-received event!

Your Hartsville Red Fox baseball team will wait tables this Sunday April 18th at Bizzell’s. Please come support these student athletes. As owner Leigh Ann Bizzell said, “We’ll find out which players make good husbands when the domestic duties set in.” It will be a great day to have good food and fellowship with these fine young men. Hours of operation are from 11:00 am till 2:00pm.
The Hartsville Red Foxes lost to the Conway Tigers 4-3 in Region VI action Friday in Conway.
