SUMMARY:
• The Darlington County School District is ranked #5 in the state in terms of academic achievement, according to the annual school and district report cards released today by the South Carolina Department of Education.
• Hartsville High School has earned an “EXCELLENT” rating and is ranked #17 in the state (out of 216) in terms of graduation rate.
• Five Hartsville schools - Carolina Elementary, Hartsville High, N. Hartsville Elementary, Southside Early Childhood Center, and Washington St. Elementary - earned EXCELLENT absolute ratings on this report card.
• Three Hartsville schools - Hartsville Middle, Thornwell School for the Arts, and W. Hartsville Elementary - earned AVERAGE absolute ratings on this report card.
• The Darlington County School District earned an EXCELLENT rating!
